Ken Preuss is a Florida-based writer and performer who became a teacher to guarantee an audience 5 days a week. Although his published one-acts for teens and his collection of short plays for adults have been produced in festivals and schools in Australia, Canada, China, England, Germany, Guatemala, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, Thailand, and all 50 States, Ken can be found rooted near Orlando with his wife, two sons, and assorted pets.

​Playwright Cricket Daniel calls Bend, Oregon home, but her roots and heart belong to California. Born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley, she holds a theater degree from UC Santa Barbara and brings a dynamic background in improv, stand-up, radio, and theater to everything she creates. Her award-winning plays have graced stages across the country, and she is a proud member of The Dramatists Guild of America. Off the page, Cricket has been happily married to her husband, Jason, for 31 years — together they raised their daughter, Spencer, now a senior at Oregon State University. When she's not crafting her next play, you'll find her out on the pickleball courts.

​A Silly First Date

“Wild Bill” Johnson is an award-winning educator by day and a ballroom-dancing, karaoke-rapping playwright by night. A lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio, he has taught Mathematics and Computer Programming since graduating from The University of Akron in 1999. He began writing plays three years ago, drawing on his experiences as a teacher and his journey as an early widower. His work explores trauma-based humor, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and strong female STEM characters. His play Princess Lily and the Greedy Wizard was featured at the 2025 BorderLight Festival, with others receiving staged readings. Silly First Date is his first full production.

Cup O' Kindness

Jon Lonoff is a New York–based indie film actor and writer for theatre and film. His work spans from an adaptation of Aesop’s Fables for marionettes to a training film for Sunoco attendants. His theatrical credits include The Garbage Cantata, a musical about recycling, and the award-winning comedy film The Dark Knight. Cup o’ Kindness was developed at the Workshop Theater’s “Out-of-the-Hat” Reading Series, where artists are randomly paired. His most popular play, Skin Deep, also developed there, is published by Concord Theatricals and has enjoyed over 60 productions across the U.S. and internationally.

Fiddler on the Block

James Sherman is the author many plays including Magic Time, The God of Isaac, Beau Jest, Jest A Second!, Romance in D, From Door to Door,  Jacob and Jack, Chagall In School and The First Lady of Television. James began his professional career with The Second City in Chicago and received an M.F.A. degree from Brandeis University.  Living in New York in the 1980s, James studied acting with Uta Hagen for five years and had his first professional production as a playwright. He was a founding member of the Playwrights Ensemble of the Tony Award-winning Victory Gardens Theater. His plays have been produced throughout the United States and in 14 other countries. He is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America.

Mark Harvey Levine has had over 2,300 productions of his short plays everywhere from Bangalore to Bucharest and from South Korea to South Africa.  His plays have been produced in more than 30 countries, over a dozen languages and have been published in over two dozen anthologies. Full evenings of his work, like “Didn’t See That Coming”, “Cabfare For The Common Man” and “A Very Special Holiday Special”, have been shown around the world, including at the Edinburgh Fringe.  His new full-length, “Save Hamlet” premiered at the Laboratory Theater of Florida and has had productions all over the world.  This is first production in Israel!

Les Abromovitz is a member of the Dramatists Guild whose plays were selected by eleven theatres for production or readings in 2025. A two-time national playwriting award winner, he has also authored, co-authored, and ghostwritten numerous business books published by major houses including John Wiley & Sons and McGraw-Hill. His COVID-era play appeared in a Smith & Kraus anthology (2021), and a monologue from The View from Down Under will feature in its 2026 Best Men’s Stage Monologues. His comedy Therapy Dog is forthcoming from Big Dog Publishing. He splits his time between Pittsburgh and Boca Raton with his wife, Hedy.
