Join us for an intensive, high-energy musical theatre masterclass celebrating three decades of Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking masterpiece, RENT! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a shower-singing enthusiast, this workshop is designed to push your vocal limits and sharpen your stagecraft in a supportive, professional environment.
What to Expect
  • Vocal Power & Rock Technique: Master the "belt" and emotional grit required for the RENT! score. We’ll focus on breath control, vocal health, and stylistic nuances.
  • Ensemble Energy: Learn and perform iconic from the show featuring solo opportunities for every participant.
  • Solo Performance Masterclass: Receive personalized coaching on your own individual performance, focusing on vocal fixes and acting-through-song to make your performance truly authentic.
  • Signature Choreography: Cap off the day by learning original-style movement to the show’s most high-octane hits.
The Result
By the end of the session, you will have expanded your vocal range, gained confidence in your solo delivery, and experienced the electric feeling of being part of a professional musical theatre ensemble. You’ll leave with practical tools to use in your next audition or performance - and a lot of "Bohemian" spirit!

About the Instructor
Natalie Lipin is a professional performer and vocal coach dedicated to bringing West End and Broadway-standard training to the local stage scene. With a background in and vocal pedagogy combined with her international performance experience in the 20th Anniversary US/Japan tour of RENT!, Avenue Q, South Korea and Love Beyond, London (to name a few!) Natalie focuses on a "performance-first" approach, merging technical vocal excellence with deeply connected storytelling.
She is thrilled to partner with Center Stage to celebrate the 30th anniversary of RENT! Natalie’s mission is to empower singers of all levels to find their unique voice and perform with unapologetic confidence.

Participants are encouraged to come dressed like a Bohemian (beanies, scarves, layers) to help get into the RENT! 90's East Village vibe!
