Youth theater positively contributes to young people's personal and social development. Even if the kids don’t end up pursuing careers as professional actors, there are so many other important skills that they’re learning that can be used in their everyday lives. These include self-esteem, self-reliance, self-worth, confidence, responsibility, heightened awareness, deeper consciousness, better and broader social skills, tolerance, understanding, friendship, and the list goes on and on.

Center Stage is a warm, nurturing and fun environment where their voices can be heard and where they can develop the empathy and responsibility needed to become the best version of themselves.

We offer weekly drama and theater classes for ages 7 to 17. Classes will be divided into the following age groups:
​
Group 1 -
כיתות א,ב,ג, 
Group 2 -
כיתות ד,ה,ו 
Group 3 - כיתות ז-י"ב 

Each group will meet once a week at their allocated day and time for the term. Classes are limited to 15 students per class. Class activities depend on the age group but can include: 

Drama Games, Improvisation, Storytelling, Group Work, Devising Scenes, Trust Exercises, Character Development, Movement/Stage Dance, Voice Work and Performance Skills. 

Students will be learning in a working theater and as such, will be exposed to all aspects of the theater world which will enable them to:
  • Work front-of-house, back stage, production crew
  • Audition for age appropriate roles as and when productions require it. 
  • Meet with working actors and directors and have the chance to learn from them.

At the end of the year, all students will get the opportunity to put on and participate in a production in front of an audience.
Costs*

​Group 1 - NIS 340 per month for a 1.5 hour class 
Group 2 - NIS 340 per month for a 1.5 hour class 
Group 3 - NIS 380 per month for a 2 hour class
