I have the utmost respect for entrepreneurs. They are fascinating, driven, fearless and revolutionary in so many ways. During my time in the VC world and as a marketing consultant to the high-tech industry, I had the privileged of meeting and working with many incredible entrepreneurs. All were passionate about their startups and knew exactly what they should pitch to investors, customers and partners. But rarely did they know how to do it. 

The Heart of the Matter
I learned that no matter how fantastic the brain behind it all was, it was ultimately the heart that we connected with. It is the heart that pumps life into a business and sustains it. In business, the technological, marketing and sales skills are the brain of the business. The heart that makes it all come alive is soft skills and without these soft skills, the road to success is much harder.

What are Soft Skills and why are they Important
Soft skills are taking those inherent human qualities, such as communication, interaction, creativity, innovation, analytical thinking, problem solving etc. and developing these so you can apply them effectively in the workforce.
